Home to more than 100 National Treasures and Important Cultural Properties including the temple building itself, Mii-dera Teple is the head temple of the Tendaijimon Buddhist sect.The temple is featured in numerous movies, one of which is “Rurouni Kenshin”, a movie adaption from a manga of the same name.
