The Nihonsakari Brewery was established in 1889. Influenced by the western culture, many sake breweries during that time were brick-built and the Nihonsakari Sakaguradori Rengakan reflects the contemporary architecture of the time.
Within the building, you will find shops selling a wide variety of Japanese sake liquor and vessels, as well as an authentic Japanese restaurant named “Hanasakari”. For those looking for a more hands-on experience, why not make your own glassware at the glassblowing workshop?
Additionally, a selection of sake including some namagenshu (unpasteurized & undiluted sake), are available for tasting free of charge.
