Museum of Tezuka Osamu, Father of Manga and Animation

This museum visualizes the world of the manga artist, Tezuka Osamu’s works such as “Tetsuwan Atom (Astro Boy)” and “Black Jack.” A standing statue of “Hinotori (Phoenix)” will welcome you as you enter the entrance hall. Inside the museum, exhibits are made in the images of “Tetsuwan Atom,” “Princess Knight,” etc. You will find the secret of Tezuka Osamu’s works by his biography displayed in the permanent exhibition space, where booklets for free. In the building, there is also a theater to view the original animation and an expereience area to try your hands on making your own animation.
