Kobe Maritime Museum

One of the world's largest maritime museums on the theme of ports and ships.

This museum focuses on the history of the Port of Kobe with exhibits relating to the port, a bountiful ship model collection, an exhibit on the Kawasaki Heavy Industries Group who has over a century of history in Kobe, and many exhibits of products used on land, sea, and air. The Series 0 Shinkansen (bullet train), which allows visitors to sit in the cabin and driver’s seat, motorcycles and jet skis that can be straddled, and an actual large helicopter that can be touched are just a few of the many exhibits that will stimulate not only children’s interest but also men’s romantic hearts. The Kobe Maritime Museum is a place where both children and adults can enjoy learning and playing while realizing the beauty of technology and the importance of manufacturing.
