Introducing various cultural collections excavated from Hikone's town

The regional hub facility of the Yumekyobashi Castle Road, part of the “Omi Sengoku-no-michi” routes of Shiga Prefecture’s Omi History Corridor Project. Opened in April 1997, the Yume-Kyobashi Akari-Kan provides information about the Omi Sengoku history as well as the charm of the castle town of Hikone, which at night, is lit up by Japanese candles. There is also an original candle craft corner.
