Clean water flow and green of trees which even in the summer is a cool healing spot

Uriwari no taki Waterfall is chosen as one of “100 selections of national famous clear water” whose name comes from the water flowing down from the waterfall that is cold enough to split a gourd called “uri” in Japanese. The sight of sunbeams streaming through the leaves of the forest spreading around the waterfall as well as green moss clustering together on the rocks around it look really fantastic. As many as 10,000 hydrangeas, cherry trees, Japanese maple trees are planted in the extensive garden surrounding this waterfall, showing us various splendid views in each season.
