The park where the Tower of the Sun rises

This park was developed to utilize the land after the Japan World Exposition held in 1970. With Tower of the Sun as its symbol, the park has a variety of facilities. It includes the Natural and Cultural Gardens and the Japanese Garden where can enjoy all kinds of seasonal greenery and flowers, as well as cultural/sports facilities, such as the National Museum of Ethnology (Minpaku), the Japan Folk Crafts Museum, and the Expo ’70 Commemorative Stadium. There is also the spa facility, called Genkionsen Banpaku Oyuba.
