Hyogo Prefectural Stork Town Park

A town that lives together with the special national treasure storks

A town that lives together with the special national treasure storks

It is a facility that takes initiative in protecting, breeding, and reintroducing to the wild the country’s special natural treasure stork. From autumn of 2005, we started releasing the storks with the goal of “returning the stork to its former habitat and multiplying it by natural breeding.” Inside the garden, you can observe the stork up close, and also a place to learn to deepen your interest of the natural environment.
