Kaori-no-Ie Olandakan (Former Wolhin’s House)

Former Holland Consulate General

Former Holland Consulate General

If you walk up on Olandazaka or Holland Hill in Kitano, you will see Olandakan with a nostalgic look of 1920s. Olandakan is a building with a Taisho period-style hip roof (No.48 preserved historic building appointed by Kobe City Department of Education). It had been used as Holland Consulate General for a long period of time, and it’s been opened to the public since January 1987. Bring home an unforgettable memory at Olandakan with a picture in a traditional folk dress of the Volendam area and an original fragrance personally made according to your age, preference in music, flowers, and more.
