Right on the 6th floor of Tokyu Plaza Omotesando Harajuku, find yourself completely surrounded in approximately 16,000 lights intricately woven into the greenery of the open terrace. Completely encompassed in a warm yellow glow, the urban forest exudes an enchanting atmosphere that is both nostalgic and festive – like old classic Christmas carols. Marunouchi Illuminations 2020

Only a short walk away from Tokyo station, you will quickly find yourself in a Christmas wonderland in Marunouchi Naka-dori – a renowned location for its annual winter illuminations. With more than 330 trees stretched along about 1.2 kilometers donning approximately 1.2 million LED energy-saving bulbs, the entire street is illuminated in Marunouchi’s signature champagne gold hue. The entire lane is also lined with a plethora of boutiques and cafes, perfect for any last-minute gift shopping or relaxing pit stops for a warm beverage in the cold, crisp weather.
